"If you don’t make the effort to read it, listen to it, watch it, attend it or hang around those that have it, you will never get it. If you never get it, it is impossible to give it. What if everyone took your approach to personal development?" She knew she had captured something special. She was clicking the camera as I took shot after shot on my phone. The sun sank so quickly and the moment was gone forever. As photographer Wayne Smith of Little Rock says "once that shutter clicks, that moment will never occur again". As my wife continued to talk about the photo it began to resurface and eventually found its way to all the screen savers and backgrounds on our computers and phones. As I looked at it one morning, this hit me. These are "Times Not Forgotten". These brothers are making memories that will never be forgotten. We are so blessed to be able to take part in these times. I can see this as brothers, neighbors or buddies. We have all made these memories throughout our life with relatives or friends and then life happens. Times like these are not forgotten but the frequency becomes less and less. In today's hectic world, we need more times like this. If you have any amount of candles on your birthday cake you have someone that you miss spending time with. It may not be fishing. It could be hunting, golf, tennis or just spending time together. It also took me back to a simpler time. A group of 50 people over the age of 90 were asked their biggest regret. The number 1 answer was that they didn't take more time to reflect. I challenge you to spend much time at all looking at this without doing some major reflection. I have found it has a powerful calming effect. I know I am biased but I think every office and cabin should have one. Just let us know your special instructions on the checkout page. God Bless, Greg Gilbert
