"If you don’t make the effort to read it, listen to it, watch it, attend it or hang around those that have it, you will never get it. If you never get it, it is impossible to give it. What if everyone took your approach to personal development?"

Greg Gilbert - HR Consultant

Speaker

I've been asked many times if I am a motivational, inspirational or educational speaker. My answer has always been no, I am a speaker. I provide motivational, inspirational and educational content in the form of true stories with songs and guitar thrown in.

If an attendee is ready to receive motivation, inspiration or education, they will receive and benefit from it. If their switch is stuck in the transmit position, my goal is to plant a seed that pushes through when it is needed. The "NEED TO" of an audience will not determine their benefit, their "WANT TO" will determine their results. Do they want to make improvements in their life or business? THAT will determine the degree of change.

I was honored to receive a request to share "With What They Died For", a new song I had written on the KATV Veteran's Day Program. The song asks a very tough question; "Are you proud of what you've done with what they died for?" I am HUGE on personal accountability. I will challenge myself and every attendee from the stage. If you are looking for "group hug", feel good type of speaker, that is not me. If you would like great content with a serious challenge and tools to make a change, that, IS me.

Our Keynote Presentation.

See how level the road is when we sow good seeds in all aspects of our life? Take some good seeds out or replace them with bigger, badder seeds and you will add many "I wish I would've" and rough spots to your "Life Script".

My current keynote for all groups is;

"Accountable Seedership™ Is Our Responsibility, Not Our Choice!"

OR

"Filling The Potholes Of Life With Good Seeds."

Sample of comments:

"Your presentation was loved by our entire group. Everyone commented on how funny you are but how important your message is as well especially since we all get so caught up in our busy schedules. You helped remind us about what is important in life and gave us some good people management tools as well. You certainly helped to liven up a day full of legal regulations and laws and that is not easy to do!"

M. H. - President RRVHR Association

We truly enjoyed your presentation. The message was one for not only Human Resource professionals but for every walk of life. I was inspired by your outlook and reminded that life is what I intend to make of it. This was an important message for me and I am sure it touched many others. I believe that every person we come in contact with plays an important role for one, if not both people.

Thank you again,
Courtney - HR Conference Coordinator

"What a wonderful presentation you made for our Arkansas Transit Association 25th anniversary. Our members enjoyed your stories and I think all of us deal with many of the same issues every day. Thank you for joining us and sharing your program."
Ann-Arkansas Transit Association

"Your program was a real blessing to our group. Several of our group members commented that your presentation was the best program that they had received in many years.

I also wanted to add that you are a terrific songwriter. You have a rare gift of writing words and melodies that seem quite commercially viable to my ear. I could imagine hearing many of your songs on the radio sung by leading country artists. I hope you are trying to shop your songs in some manner because you truly have a gift."

Contact Greg Gilbert, "Mr. HR With A Guitar", to speak at your next event. Greg is a public speaker, instructor, HR Consultant, guitar picker, author, singer/songwriter, and poet that will share true stories and songs that are guaranteed to stir many emotions.

When Greg writes a song he always says "If it doesn't make you mad, sad or glad, I've wasted your time". He feels the same about his keynote and management training except he wants you to experience all three emotions. Mad, you didn't think of and implement some of these items. Sad, you may have wasted some time with the wrong priorities. Most of all he wants you to leave glad that your paths have crossed and you will take away some very valuable information that you can use in your business and personal life.

I would love to share some life lessons with your group and improve the results on your "Life Appraisal".

Note: If you are looking for a slide show, here's your handout type of speaker, you are on the wrong web site. If you are looking for a content rich, life lesson, where's my pen and paper I've got to write that down type of presentation with some humor thrown in, you are at the right place.

If you are resistant to personal responsibility and are prone to point fingers, you will not like me. As my latest song asks; are you proud of what you've done, with what they died for? I want you to look in the mirror, hold yourself accountable and make some improvements. It's like shooting skeet except you do not get to yell pull.
